New York Jets wide receiver Corey Davis has had just a couple of fantasy-friendly performances this season, but his injury status is significant in multiple ways.
For one, he could be a decent flex play against a struggling Jacksonville Jaguars secondary. Additionally, his presence or absence from the Week 16 game will affect fellow wide receivers Garrett Wilson and Elijah Moore and perhaps tight ends Tyler Conklin and C.J. Uzomah.
With the fantasy football playoffs underway, we have to cover it all to make sure we're making the best start-or-sit decisions. We have the latest on Davis.

Corey Davis Injury Update for Fantasy Football
Davis (concussion) was listed as a full practice participant at Tuesday's walkthrough. Meanwhile, receivers Denzel Mims (concussion) and Jeff Smith (knee) were listed as DNPs for the second straight day. Davis suffered a concussion in Week 14 and missed the Week 15 loss to the Detroit Lions. The 27-year-old still needs to clear the league's concussion protocol in order to play on Thursday night against the Jacksonville Jaguars, but he's trending in the right direction.
As always, it's important to stay posted all the way up to kickoff, as things can change quickly when it comes to head injuries.
Corey Davis Week 16 Fantasy Outlook
If Davis returns to action, he won't be a recommended fantasy flex as the No. 3 behind first-rounders Wilson and Moore with quarterback Zach Wilson making his second straight start. Davis has only 460 receiving yards and two touchdowns in 2022 on 26 receptions in 10 games played.
The main thing his presence in the lineup does is take away from Moore. Moore saw 17 targets in Weeks 14 and 15 with a banged-up Davis, totaling 111 yards. With Davis in the lineup, he's topped 60 yards just once. That said, he'll be a much riskier flex option on Thursday Night.
Needless to say, Wilson remains a must-start, as the rookie has totaled 67 receptions for 966 yards and four touchdowns this season as the current WR18 in fantasy football.
