As the NFL season and fantasy football playoffs both continue, every injury matters tenfold.
This week, we're keeping an eye on Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence, who is dealing with an injury that could sideline him for Week 16. To make matters worse, Lawrence has very little turnaround time considering Jaguars-Jets kicks off on Thursday evening.
Is Lawrence healthy or injured? Will Lawrence play in Week 16? What is his fantasy football outlook for this coming week?

Trevor Lawrence Injury News
The Jaguars listed Lawrence as a non-participant on Monday as he continues to deal with a toe injury. However, since Jacksonville didn't practice on Monday, their injury report was merely an estimate. The second-year signal-caller made progress on Tuesday, practicing in a limited capacity. He remained limited on Wednesday.
Is Trevor Lawrence Injured or Playing in Week 16?
Lawrence is officially listed as questionable for Thursday Night Football. On one hand, it's always concerning to see a player's status left up in the air, especially on a short week. On the other hand, though, Lawrence was listed as questionable in each of the last two weeks and ended up playing on both occasions. He has yet to miss a game through nearly two seasons, appearing in all 31 games, and it's hard to imagine that streak comes to an end in Week 16 as the Jaguars fight for a playoff spot.
Adding further confirmation to Lawrence's status, Ian Rapoport of NFL.com tweeted that the 23-year-old should start on Thursday night despite dealing with a nagging toe sprain.
With Lawrence in line to play, he ranks as a solid QB1 in fantasy football. He has come on strong as of late, averaging a 70.4 percent completion rate, 280 passing yards, 23.3 rushing yards, and 2.5 total touchdowns over his last six games. He looked incredible in Week 15 versus the Cowboys, amassing 318 passing yards, four touchdowns, and one pick. That interception was his first since Week 8 against the Broncos in London.
Furthermore, Lawrence's matchup against the Jets bodes well for his fantasy production. While New York boasted a very strong defense earlier in the season, they have plateaued around mediocrity in recent weeks. Over their last three games, the Jets are allowing 15.5 fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks, ranking 16th in the NFL.
Between his hot streak and relatively favorable matchup, Lawrence is in line for another strong showing in Week 16. Assuming he's active on Thursday night, the former No. 1 pick makes for a very intriguing option in most fantasy leagues.
