Robert Tonyan Catches One Pass Monday Night
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers tight end Robert Tonyan caught 1-of-2 targets and gained four yards during the team's 24-12 victory over the Los Angeles Rams. It is the second game in a row the 28-year-old has caught just one pass, and the third time it has happened this season. With rookie Romeo Doubs back from an ankle injury he suffered in Week 9 and fellow tight end Marcedes Lewis mixing in, there are too many mouths to feed in Green Bay to keep Tonyan as a viable streaming option. While next week's matchup against Miami is a favorable one, the veteran tight end can safely be left on the waiver wire in Week 16.
