Christian Watson Has Touchdown Streak Come To An End
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson caught 4-of-6 targets and gained 46 yards during the team's 24-12 victory over the Los Angeles Rams. The performance snaps a four-game touchdown streak, and it is the first time since Week 9 that the 23-year-old has finished outside the top 12. Watson did lead the team in targets but only saw one more than returning rookie Romeo Doubs. Due to recent events, there is no reason to treat the rookie as anything less than the No. 1 target for quarterback Aaron Rodgers moving forward. Watson has a fantastic matchup against the Miami Dolphins next week, and while the ball was spread around more in this game with the Packers' wide receiver corps at full health, he will still be considered a WR2 in Week 16.
