Romeo Doubs Leads Packers In Receiving In Week 15 Return
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers rookie wide receiver Romeo Doubs caught all five of his targets and gained 55 yards during the team's 24-12 victory over the Los Angeles Rams. It was a solid showing for the rookie in his return from an ankle injury he suffered back in Week 9 against Detroit. Teammate Christian Watson led the team in targets but only received one more than Doubs. With the Green Bay receiving corps at full strength, quarterback Aaron Rodgers spread the ball around the offense heavily. The Packers also had a balanced offensive attack in this game, leaning on the run game more than usual. While that may not be the case next week against Miami, it does leave the 22-year-old Doubs in an interesting spot for fantasy purposes heading into next week. With the Dolphins struggling to stop the pass and Green Bay needing to keep up with their offense, Doubs has flex appeal in Week 16. However, with Watson and Allen Lazard healthy, his upside may be capped.
