John Collins Set To Make Return Monday
2 years agoAtlanta Hawks power forward John Collins (ankle) is on track to suit up for Monday's contest vs. Orlando after having missed the previous eight contests due to a sprained left ankle. Prior to his injury, Collins had averaged 12.3 points and 7.5 boards across his first 22 games, averaging fewer than double-digit shot attempts for the first time since his rookie year in 2017-18. With Clint Capela (calf) sidelined for the time being, Collins has the opportunity to see his rebounding numbers improve; back on Oct. 21 against the Magic, the 25-year-old delivered a 23-point, 13-rebound performance. Fantasy managers can expect Collins to be somewhat eased back into the mix but a three-game week against favorable opponents (Orlando, Chicago, Detroit) will likely be beneficial to his production.
