Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Kadarius Toney has had an up-and-down 2022 season. The second-year receiver started the season with the New York Giants, scoring only 3.3 half-point PPR fantasy points with the team.
The former Florida Gator played in the first two contests of the year before suffering a hamstring injury that cost him five games.
New York traded Toney to the Chiefs before the trade deadline. After the trade, fantasy players were excited to see the young receiver paired with Patrick Mahomes.

Is Kadarius Toney Playing In Week 15?
After a quiet first game with his new team, Toney scored 17 fantasy points the following week against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
However, the former first-round pick suffered another hamstring injury the following week against the Los Angeles Chargers. Unfortunately, Toney has missed the past three games because of the injury.
While he is listed as questionable for tomorrow’s matchup against the Houston Texans, the second-year receiver is trending toward playing.
If Toney plays this week, should fantasy players start him against the Texans?
Should I Pickup And Start Kadarius Toney?
The answer to this question is no. Toney has one productive game this season. That week, the Chiefs didn’t have Mecole Hardman and lost JuJu Smith-Schuster early in the game with a concussion.
Instead, fantasy players should add and start a wide receiver on the other team: Chris Moore.
The veteran receiver is available in over 85% of ESPN leagues. More importantly, Houston won’t have Brandin Cooks or Nico Collins for this week’s matchup against the Chiefs.
Tomorrow will be the second straight week the Texans won’t have either of their starting wide receivers. Last week, Moore had the best performance of his career. The former Cincinnati Bearcat caught 10 of 11 targets for 124 receiving yards, scoring 17.4 half-point PPR fantasy points against the Dallas Cowboys.
Furthermore, he has averaged 10.8 fantasy points per game this season in the four contests with five or more targets, scoring 8.5 fantasy points or more three times.
Meanwhile, the Chiefs have surrendered 31.9 fantasy points per game to wide receivers this year, the fourth-most in the NFL. Furthermore, they have given up 19 touchdowns to wide receivers this season, the most in the league.
With Cooks and Collins out this week, fantasy players should expect Moore to see double-digit targets for the second straight game. He has top-24 upside against the Chiefs.
