Antonio Gibson A Flex Candidate Against New York
2 years agoWashington Commanders running back Antonio Gibson has seen his opportunities decrease over his last couple of outings. Over Weeks 12 and 13, the third-year back has seen just 23 total touches compared to Brian Robinson Jr.'s 43. However, the Commanders continue to run the ball consistently. Over their last three games, they've called rushing plays at the fifth-highest rate in the NFL. With that considered, Gibson could have a decent performance if Washington increases his opportunities while buying into the run game. For fantasy managers in need of a flex, Gibson could be a decent candidate against a New York Giants defense that has allowed the second most fantasy points per game to opposing running backs over the last four weeks.
