Josh Richardson Will Miss Saturday’s Contest
2 years agoSan Antonio Spurs point/shooting guard Josh Richardson (personal) has been ruled out for Saturday's game vs. Miami due to personal reasons. Richardson reclaimed a starting gig in his last outing, nabbing a season-high four steals. The veteran has averaged 10.7 PPG primarily off the bench this year, knocking down just shy of two triples per outing. His absence -- along with that of Blake Wesley's (G League) -- paves the way for Tre Jones to see a significant workload as the team's primary ballhandler. As absences mount for the Spurs, Keldon Johnson and Devin Vassell continue to see their offensive upsides rise as well. Richardson's next chance to suit up comes Monday against the Rockets.
