2 years agoVegas Golden Knights winger Reilly Smith posted two goals in Thursday's 4-1 victory over the Blackhawks. He scored a short-handed goal early in the second period, which ended up being the game-winner, and Reilly also lit the lamp with the net empty at the end of the game. These were his only shots on target in the game, and Smith did his best to help out defensively as well, logging two blocks and one hit in 16:49 of ice time. That's now back-to-back multi-point games for the 31-year-old. After getting only 30 goals across the previous two seasons, Smith has significantly improved in front of the net in 2022-23, scoring 14 times in 32 outings.
