Viktor Arvidsson Won't Play Versus Buffalo
2 years agoLos Angeles Kings winger Viktor Arvidsson (personal) won't be available for Tuesday's matchup against Buffalo after he was designated non-roster player status Monday. He has gone home for the birth of his child and should be back soon. The Swedish winger has been a solid asset for managers in deeper leagues this season with 22 points in 29 games. He typically skates on the second line, and Arvidsson's spot is set to go to Jaret Anderson-Dolan Tuesday. The 23-year-old has registered just four points in 16 games this season, but a promotion to the top six puts him in a good spot to boost his numbers.

Viktor Arvidsson Back In Oilers Lineup Versus Bruins
4 months agoEdmonton Oilers winger Viktor Arvidsson (undisclosed) will end a 15-game absence on Thursday against Boston. This will be his first appearance since Nov. 12. Arvidsson's first campaign in Edmonton has been full of frustration, as he's totaled only five points (two goals, three assists) in 16 outings. The Swedish forward has been disappointing in a top-six role and will rejoin the lineup on the third line, with Connor Brown and Adam Henrique skating next to him. With a couple of 60-point campaigns under his belt, Arvidsson has proved that he can be a major threat offensively, but he doesn't have much fantasy value right now.

Viktor Arvidsson Sits Out Meeting With Predators
5 months agoEdmonton Oilers winger Viktor Arvidsson (undisclosed) will come out of the lineup on Thursday against Nashville. Per Oilers TV host & reporter Tony Brar, the Swedish winger is dealing with a "minor injury." Arvidsson will miss his first game of the season. The Oilers had high hopes for Arvidsson when they signed him to a two-year, $8 million contract in the summer, but the 31-year-old has been very slow out the gate. He currently boasts only two goals and five points for the campaign. Arvidsson's minutes will be staggered throughout the lineup, as Oilers head coach Kris Knoblauch has decided to go with seven defensemen on Thursday.

Viktor Arvidsson Heading To Free Agency
10 months agoLos Angeles Kings winger Viktor Arvidsson appears poised to move on from L.A. this offseason. According to TSN's Travis Yost, the 31-year-old Swedish forward will hit free agency on July 1. Arvidsson, a former 30-goal scorer with the Nashville Predators, has spent three injury-filled seasons with the Kings. He made only 18 appearances in 2023-24, scoring six goals and handing out nine assists. Arvidsson is finishing off a seven-year, $29.75 million contract. Through 546 career games, Arvidsson has managed 362 points (179 goals, 183 assists), and he can definitely still do a good job for a number of teams. However, health remains a big question mark with him and might scare off some suitors.

Viktor Arvidsson Could Be Ready To Return On Tuesday
1 year agoLos Angeles Kings winger Viktor Arvidsson (lower body) is getting close to returning to action, and his comeback might come in Tuesday's matchup against Chicago. Arvidsson has missed the past 13 games while trying to recover from a lower-body injury. His season debut was delayed by a back injury, meaning we've seen the Swedish winger skate in just four games this term. He collected two assists before hurting himself again. If he's game-ready, Arvidsson will compete for a top-six spot, and he should also see a healthy amount of power-play time.
