ANALYSIS: The New York Giants went on a bye week back in Week 9 and after returning from that small hiatus Daniel Jones hasn't stopped putting up numbers. Including last Sunday's top-10 outing, Jones has finished inside the top-24 players in the position each and every one of the last five weeks with four of those games into the top-14 QBs of those slates.
Jones has only had one game with fewer than 17.1 FP since Week 10 (included). Even then, he reached 13.5 FP for a top-21 finish in Week 12 (21 completions, 228 yards, and 1 TD).
Jones is now coming off his fourth-best game of the season thanks to scoring a passing touchdown and a rushing touchdown (26 rushing yards on 4 carries). Jones completed 18-of-27 passes against Philly but could only rack up 169 passing yards.
At the end of the day, though, that's Jones' main appeal: he never excels at anything in particular but he knows how to keep a balanced statline up on a weekly basis, usually finishing in the top-10-to-20 clip among quarterbacks.
No need to mention Jones has already scored five rushing TDs this year, something only three other quarterbacks have topped to date with all teams having gone through their respective bye weeks.
