The DST position is one of the trickier propositions in fantasy football, but can sometimes be the difference between wins and losses. As we head into Week 14 of the NFL season, many fantasy managers are left searching for viable streaming options at the DST spot for Sunday, December 11th.
In what looked like a lost season, Pittsburgh has won three of their last four games and remains in contention for a wild card spot. The Steelers will face the Baltimore Ravens in Week 14. The Ravens' offense is currently averaging 23.8 points per game, ranking 11th in the NFL.
So, should we start the Pittsburgh Steelers DST this week against Baltimore?

What Has The Steelers DST Done in 2022?
The difference between Pittsburgh's defense with TJ Watt versus without their star pass-rusher has been day and night. With Watt, Pittsburgh is averaging 2.4 takeaways and over 10 fantasy points per game this season. Without Watt, they're averaging 0.7 takeaways and 2.1 fantasy points per game.
The Steelers have allowed the 13th-most points this year with 23.1 PPG, and have been very vulnerable through the air, allowing the fifth-most passing yards per game at 266.9 YPG. Pittsburgh's rush defense has been stout, allowing the seventh-fewest rushing yards per game at 107.5
They currently stand tied for 21st in the NFL in DST fantasy points per game at 5.6, 26th in team sacks with 23, and have forced the ninth-most turnovers this season with 17.
Should I Start The Steelers DST In Week 14 Fantasy Football?
Since their Week 9 bye, the Steelers' defense has been solid. Cincinnati is the only team to score more than 17 points against Pittsburgh over the last four weeks. They've forced multiple turnovers in three of the last four games as well.
Sunday serves as a huge rivalry game for them. The Baltimore Ravens come to town in what shapes out to be an intense game. Lamar Jackson is doubtful with a knee injury. Tyler Huntley is expected to make his fifth career start this week in Pittsburgh.
The Ravens' pass attack has been stagnant, averaging less than 200 pass YPG. Pittsburgh will be able to bring the house often and make Baltimore lean on their ground game heavily. Expect the Steelers' DST to be one of the better plays this week against a depleted Ravens offense.
