Winnipeg Jets defenseman Josh Morrissey registered two assists in Friday's 3-1 win over Chicago, becoming the fastest blue-liner in franchise history to reach 30 points in a season. He needed only 26 outings to get there with five goals and 25 assists. Nearly half (14) of Morrissey's points have come since Nov. 21. He has also tallied 42 shots, 27 hits and 40 blocks during an outstanding campaign. The 27-year-old is making an impact all-over the ice and that makes him one of the best defensive assets in fantasy hockey.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Winnipeg Jets defenseman Josh Morrissey (upper body) looks ready to return to the lineup for Friday's Game 2 against the Dallas Stars. Following the morning skate, Jets head coach Scott Arniel said Morrissey will "probably" play. He was labeled a game-time call on Thursday. Morrissey will rejoin Dylan DeMelo on the first defensive pairing and is set to reclaim his spot on the top power-play unit, bumping Neal Pionk down to the second. In seven playoff appearances this year, Morrissey has recorded three assists, 11 shots, 10 blocks, and 15 hits.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Winnipeg Jets defenseman Josh Morrissey (upper body) is set to be a game-time decision for Friday's contest against the Dallas Stars. He was also considered a game-time call for Wednesday's series opener, but Morrissey was not in the lineup, missing his first game this postseason. Colin Miller stepped in for him on the blue line, logging 17:56 of action. He finished with three shots on goal, two blocks, and a minus-one rating. Neal Pionk once again led the Jets defense in playing time with 25:08, including 5:14 on the power play.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Winnipeg Jets defenseman Josh Morrissey (upper body) is considered a game-time decision for Wednesday's second-round series opener against the Dallas Stars. Winnipeg lost its No. 1 defenseman early in Sunday's Game 7 victory over the St. Louis Blues, as Morrissey sustained an upper-body injury. He wore a non-contact jersey in Tuesday's practice. As usual, Morrissey has made an impact all over the ice in the playoffs, registering three assists, 11 shots, 10 blocks, and 15 hits. Fellow blue-liner Logan Stanley (undisclosed) is also considered a game-time call for Wednesday. Haydn Fleury and Colin Miller will continue to play if neither returns. At the same time, Neal Pionk and Dylan Samberg, who both logged 44-plus minutes of action in Sunday's double-overtime win, will once again have to shoulder a massive workload.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Winnipeg Jets defenseman Josh Morrissey (upper body) will be re-evaluated on Monday after he was injured in Sunday's Game 7 against the St. Louis Blues. Morrissey was forced to exit the contest after taking a hit from Blues forward Oskar Sundqvist along the boards. He logged only four shifts and 2:09 of ice time. Following Morrissey's exit, Neal Pionk led the blue line and did an incredible job during the team's comeback victory, posting three assists in 46:15 of action. Dylan Samberg also logged over 40 minutes in the double-overtime win. The Jets start their second-round series against the Dallas Stars on Wednesday, giving Morrissey some time to recover. However, if he has to miss additional time, Pionk would once again face a heavy workload.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
