BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 42% of leagues
ANALYSIS: The lovely Jordan Clarkson's legacy as Salt Lake City's very own Microwave Player is still alive and well, folks. Not until the Utah Jazz decide it is time for (finally and once and for all) tanking their way toward landing Wemby, Malik Beasley will keep heating things up off the Jazz pine.
Beasley has started only four of his 28 games played through Friday. He's one of three players in the league averaging almost 14 PPG while having started no more than 15% of his games while still playing 600+ minutes over the season. The other two are Bennedict Mathurin and Russell Westbrook.
Malik Beasley was coming off two consecutive starts entering Saturday night. He logged 35 and 36 minutes against the Dubs and the Wolves in those last two games hitting gaudy lines: 18-3-1 and 23-4-1-2 with four and five treys, respectively. Those figures don't diverge that much from when he comes off the bench as Beasley predicates his game on scoring buckets and nothing else.
There are some rebounds and some dimes here and there but those are not something you can truly build a strategy around when it comes to Beasley. The points, on the other hand, are always there and will keep coming. Beasley is attempting the fourth-most FGA (11.9 per game) among players starting fewer than 15% of their games.
Among qualified players, Beasley's 3.2 3PM rank ninth in the NBA to date, and the 41/39/85 splits are something only eight players have been good to keep up this year on a similar volume of 11+ FGA per game (only three of those, though, are launching as many treys per game as Beasley's 8.3).

BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 8% of leagues ANALYSIS: The surge of Deni Avdija in all fantasy leaderboards has a very easy-to-grasp reason and that's Kyle Kuzma missing time with an injury.
