Deshaun Watson Still Trying To Get In Sync
2 years agoCleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson missed the first 11 games of the season due to a suspension and returned last Sunday to play in a regular season game for the first time in 700 days. He was rusty and completed just 12 of 22 passes for 131 yards with an interception for a career-low 53.4 passer rating in the win over the Houston Texans. Watson admitted that he was out of sync and acknowledges that he may not return to his previous Pro Bowl form right away. There were clear timing issues on several throws to his receivers, so he still needs to get on the same page with his teammates. Things won't get any easier in his second game of the year this Sunday against the division-rival Cincinnati Bengals. Fantasy managers should continue to treat Watson as a QB2 in fantasy until further notice.
