David Njoku Injury Update
Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku (knee) missed last week's 27-14 win over the Houston Texans. However, the star tight end has been removed from the injury report and says he's good to go this week for the team's critical AFC North matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals. The former first-round pick added that he's very excited to play with Deshaun Watson after missing the quarterback's season debut last week.
Njoku has been a consistent tight end for fantasy players this season, averaging 8.5 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. More importantly, the Bengals have surrendered six receptions and at least 65 receiving yards to tight ends in three straight contests.
Hayden Hurst Injury Update
Cincinnati Bengals tight end Hayden Hurst (calf) has been ruled out of the Week 14 game against the Cleveland Browns. Hurst was injured in the Week 13 win over the Kansas City Chiefs, finishing with just two catches for 12 yards before leaving.
Mitchell Wilcox and Devin Asiasi will likely split tight end duties, but neither player should have any real standalone fantasy appeal as a streamer. Look for Tyler Boyd to see more targets in the middle of the field in Hurst's absence.
Cameron Brate Injury Update
Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Cameron Brate (illness) was a full participant in practice this week. The 31-year-old was sick and missed Monday's game against the New Orleans Saints, but is expected to play against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.
The veteran is in a timeshare with rookie tight end Cade Otton and has caught just 16 passes for 137 yards over seven games in 2022. Brate is off the fantasy radar for Week 14 against a 49ers defense that ranks sixth in DVOA versus opposing tight ends.
