Mike Boone Expected To Have Bigger Role This Week
2 years agoDenver Broncos offensive coordinator Justin Outten said he "absolutely" sees running back Mike Boone having a bigger role in Week 14 against the Kansas City Chiefs after coming back from the Injured Reserve in the Week 13 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. "The second week I see him going up," Outten said. Boone carried the ball six times for 18 yards and caught his only target for eight yards last week. Lead back Latavius Murray had a team-high 17 carries. Murray will continue to lead this backfield, but it sounds like Boone might have a bigger complementary role the rest of the way as the No. 2 ahead of Marlon Mack. Boone has no business being in starting fantasy lineups in any leagues in the lowest-scoring offense in the NFL in a Week 14 game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
