Denver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy has had an inconsistent season. The third-year receiver had high expectations this season after the team acquired Russell Wilson from the Seattle Seahawks in the offseason.
Unfortunately, Denver’s passing attack has struggled this season. As a result, the former Alabama star is the WR48 for the year, averaging 8.7 half-point PPR fantasy points per game.
Meanwhile, Jeudy has struggled with injuries again this season after missing seven games last year.

Is Jerry Jeudy Healthy Or Injured?
The third-year receiver missed the Week 11 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders and the Week 12 matchup against the Carolina Panthers because of an ankle injury. However, he played last week against the Baltimore Ravens, catching all four of his targets for 65 receiving yards, ending the game with 8.5 fantasy points.
Jeudy was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday because of the ankle injury. Unfortunately, the young receiver was again a limited participant in today’s practice.
After playing last week, the former Alabama star should be able to play Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs. Jeudy belongs in starting lineups if he plays, especially with Courtland Sutton (hamstring) unlikely to play. Furthermore, the Chiefs have surrendered 31.5 fantasy points per game to wide receivers this season, the fourth-most in the NFL.
However, fantasy players should have a backup plan if Jeudy can’t play this week.
What Wide Receivers Should I Consider Adding Off The Waiver Wire?
Finding a last-minute replacement wide receiver might be difficult with six teams on a bye in Week 14. However, one name fantasy players should consider adding off the waiver wire is Zay Jones. The Jacksonville Jaguars receiver was unstoppable two weeks ago against the Baltimore Ravens.
Unfortunately, the veteran receiver had a disappointing performance last week, scoring only 2.6 fantasy points against the Detroit Lions.
However, the former second-round pick had earned at least seven targets in three straight games. Furthermore, Jones has averaged 10.3 targets and 11.8 fantasy points per game during that span.
In Week 14, the veteran wide receiver faces the Tennessee Titans. The AFC South division leaders have surrendered 34.9 fantasy points per game to wide receivers, the most in the NFL. If Jeudy can’t play this week, Jones is a solid replacement option.
