Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs was a popular sleeper candidate during the offseason. The rookie receiver had several highlight-reel plays in training camp and the preseason.
More importantly, the former Nevada star started the season playing well. Doubs averaged six targets and 9.8 half-point PPR fantasy points per game over the first four weeks of the year.
Unfortunately, the young receiver suffered an ankle early in Week 9 against the Detroit Lions and hasn’t played since then.

Should I Add Romeo Doubs For Fantasy Football Week 14?
Doubs returned to practice a week ago and had a chance to play in the Week 13 matchup against the Chicago Bears. However, he missed the matchup against the NFC North rival and has missed four games because of the ankle injury.
With the Packers having their bye in Week 14, they had no reason to rush Doubs back last week. However, Doubs should be ready to play in Week 15 against the Los Angeles Rams.
Meanwhile, Christian Watson has become Green Bay’s new No. 1 wide receiver with Doubs out of the lineup. Over the past four weeks, the former North Dakota State star has averaged 3.8 receptions on 6.8 targets for 78.3 receiving yards, two touchdowns, and 22.9 half-point PPR fantasy points per game.
His 22.9 fantasy points per game average made him the WR2 over the past four weeks. When Doubs returns next week, his fantasy value will take a massive hit with the emergence of Watson.
What Other Wide Receivers Should I Consider Adding?
Unfortunately, fantasy players who need help at wide receiver for Week 14 can’t consider the rookie, as the team has their bye this week.
Instead, fantasy players should turn their attention to Zay Jones. The Jacksonville Jaguars receiver was unstoppable two weeks ago against the Baltimore Ravens.
Unfortunately, he had a disappointing performance last week, scoring only 2.6 fantasy points. However, the veteran receiver has earned at least seven targets in three straight games.
Furthermore, Jones has averaged 10.3 targets and 11.8 fantasy points per game over the past three weeks. Meanwhile, he faces the Tennessee Titans this week. They have surrendered 34.9 fantasy points per game to wide receivers this season, the most in the NFL.
Doubs has some appealing matchups during the fantasy playoff against the Miami Dolphins and Minnesota Vikings. However, his fantasy value is limited unless something happens to Watson.
