New York Jets wide receiver Corey Davis has played well in his second year with the team. The veteran is the WR59 for the year, averaging 7.7 half-point PPR fantasy points per game.
Unfortunately, he missed three games earlier this season with a knee injury. However, the former first-round pick has scored double-digit fantasy points in 44.4% of the games this season, including last week against the Minnesota Vikings.
Davis has done well for fantasy players despite the emergence of Garrett Wilson. However, the veteran receiver showed up on the injury report this week.

Is Corey Davis Healthy Or Injured?
The former Western Michigan star was one of several players to miss practice on Wednesday with the flu.
Thankfully, Davis returned to practice on Thursday. The veteran receiver should be ready to play Sunday against the Buffalo Bills. However, should fantasy players add Elijah Moore off the waiver wire as an insurance policy?
Should I Add Elijah Moore Off The Waiver Wire?
The second-year receiver has had a wild 2022 season. Moore averaged 5.8 targets per game over the first five weeks this year. However, he then saw only one target over the next three games. Furthermore, the young receiver got benched for the Week 7 matchup against the Denver Broncos after requesting a trade out of New York.
Since the bye week, the former Ole Miss star has worked his way back into the offense. Over the past three weeks, he has averaged four targets and 6.1 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. Last week Moore saw six targets against the Vikings, the most he’s earned since Week 3.
However, fantasy players can find a better replacement option on the waiver wire than Moore. The top receiver I would target is Zay Jones. The Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver was unstoppable two weeks ago against the Baltimore Ravens.
Unfortunately, he had a disappointing performance last week, scoring 2.6 fantasy points. However, the veteran receiver earned at least seven targets for the third straight game. Jones has averaged 10.3 targets and 11.8 fantasy points per game over the past three weeks.
In Week 14, he faces the Tennessee Titans. They have surrendered 34.9 fantasy points per game to wide receivers, the most in the NFL.
Furthermore, fantasy players should consider starting Jones over Davis this week. Even if Davis is healthy, Jones has a much more fantasy-friendly matchup in Week 14.
