Detroit Lions wide receiver D.J. Chark has struggled to stay healthy in his first year with the team. However, the veteran receiver has played well when on the field.
The former Jacksonville Jaguar receiver has averaged 6.7 half-point PPR fantasy points per game this season.
More importantly, the former second-round pick has played well lately.

Should I Add D.J. Chark For Fantasy Football Week 14?
Over the past two weeks, Chark has averaged 3.5 receptions on 5.5 targets for 57 receiving yards and 10.5 fantasy points per game. He also scored a touchdown on Thanksgiving against the Buffalo Bills.
Meanwhile, the former LSU star finished second on the team in receptions (five), targets (six), and receiving yards (98) last week in the win over his former team. Furthermore, he led the team with a 47% air yards share.
The veteran receiver is available in nearly 80% of ESPN leagues. He has another fantasy-friendly matchup in Week 14 against the Minnesota Vikings. The NFC North division leaders have surrendered 32.2 fantasy points per game to wide receivers this season, the third-most in the NFL.
Furthermore, they have gotten destroyed by wide receivers lately. Minnesota has surrendered 33 receptions for 506 receiving yards and 73.4 fantasy points to wide receivers over the past two weeks.
What Other Wide Receivers Should I Consider Adding?
While Chark has played well lately, and the matchup this week is outstanding, fantasy players should consider other wide receivers on the waiver wire. The reason why is Jameson Williams.
The first-round rookie made his NFL debut in Week 13. Unfortunately, he played only eight offensive snaps in the game, seeing one target. However, the team plans to get the former Alabama star more looks starting as early as this week.
Another option fantasy players should consider adding is Zay Jones. The veteran receiver was unstoppable two weeks ago against the Baltimore Ravens.
Unfortunately, he had a disappointing performance last week, scoring 2.6 fantasy points. However, the veteran receiver saw at least seven targets for the third straight game. Jones has averaged 10.3 targets and 11.8 fantasy points per game over the past three weeks.
In Week 14, he faces the Tennessee Titans. They have surrendered 34.9 fantasy points per game to wide receivers, the most in the NFL.
Fantasy players who are worried the rookie Williams will hurt Chark’s fantasy value should consider adding Jones off the waiver wire instead for Week 14.
