Joe Mixon's fantasy owners have felt very unsatisfied since their running back exploded for five touchdowns and 55 points in Week 9. Mixon sat for his bye in Week 10, then played just 14 snaps before suffering a concussion in Week 11 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The former Oklahoma Sooner has missed the last two games because of his head injury and has been an expensive bench piece for fantasy owners. After logging a full practice on Wednesday, owners are encouraged that Mixon is returning just in time for playoffs.
There hasn't been an official word on whether or not Mixon is going to suit up against the Browns this Sunday. Is Joe Mixon injured? Will Joe Mixon play in Week 14? Let's dive in.

Is Joe Mixon Injured?
This is the second concussion Joe Mixon has suffered since entering the league in 2017. Mixon missed multiple games in both instances. His extended absence should not concern fantasy owners moving forward.
On Thursday, head coach Zac Taylor announced that Joe Mixon had cleared concussion protocol after logging a full practice on Wednesday and positively responding to the increased workload.
The 26-year-old running back had practiced limitedly in the final three practices of last week and was deemed questionable for Cincinnati's game last Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs. Given how close he was to playing last week and the increase in activity this week, it's a safe assumption that Joe Mixon is not injured and is back to full strength.
Is Joe Mixon Playing in Week 14?
Joe Mixon will be playing this Sunday against the Cleveland Browns. In their first matchup, Mixon mustered 59 total yards and caught seven of nine targets in an inefficient outing. Cleveland jumped out to a 25-0 lead, taking Mixon out of the equation for most of the game.
Samaje Perine has done an excellent job filling in for Cincinnati's starter. Perine is averaging 23.7 PPG and 45 receiving YPG over the last three weeks and ran for a season-high 106 yards this past Sunday.
Zac Taylor has adamantly stated that Joe Mixon will remain the starter for Cincinnati despite the emergence of Samaje Perine. The Bengals will still utilize both backs like they have all season. Both are startable, but Mixon's upside as the goal-line back is immense.
