2 years agoKansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes (foot) says he suffered a foot bruise on his final play in last week's loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. However, the superstar quarterback says he feels fine and the injury shouldn't impact him going forward. Anytime Mahomes' name and the word injury are in the same sentence, fantasy players' heart skips a beat. Thankfully, the foot injury isn't severe, and the superstar quarterback will be ready to play Sunday against the Denver Broncos. The former first-round pick is the QB2 for the year, averaging 25.1 fantasy points per game. Furthermore, Mahomes leads the NFL in passing yards (3,808) and passing touchdowns (30).
