Andrew Wiggins Will Miss Monday’s Contest
2 years agoGolden State Warriors small forward Andrew Wiggins (groin) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Pacers due to a tight right adductor. Wiggins is coming off a season-best 36-point effort Saturday vs. Houston, with his absence likely to open up additional minutes for Jonathan Kuminga, Anthony Lamb and Donte DiVincenzo. The career revival of the No. 1 overall pick from the 2014 draft has continued this year, as he has shot a career-best 51.1% overall and knocked down an average of three triples per game for the first time in nine seasons. The high-octane Warriors scoring trio of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Jordan Poole can be expected to have elevated roles, so long as Wiggins remains unavailable.
