Robert Tonyan Gains Just 10 Yards In Week 13
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers tight end Robert Tonyan caught one of his two targets and gained 10 yards during the team's 29-18 victory over the Chicago Bears in Week 13. The 28-year-old has become an afterthought in the Packers' offense over the past month, catching just seven passes for a grand total of 57 yards. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers has hyper-targeted his wide receiver duo of Allen Lazard and Christian Watson while dumping off the majority of the rest of his passes to the running back duo of Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon. With rookie Romeo Doubs (ankle) likely to return after Green Bay's Week 14 bye, the target share is unlikely to shift back toward Tonyan anytime soon. The sixth-year tight end can be safely dropped to the waiver wire, as he will be off the streaming radar unless he proves to be a stable fantasy option moving forward.
