Radko Gudas Lasts For Just Two Minutes Saturday
2 years agoFlorida Panthers defenseman Radko Gudas suffered an upper-body injury Saturday against the Canucks and was able to log just 2:08 of action. He is set to be re-evaluated Sunday, along with forward Patric Hornqvist, who also couldn't complete Saturday's contest with an upper-body injury. Gudas lacks offensive skills and sits on only six points for the campaign, but he has handed out the fourth-most hits in the league (95) in 25 games, and the Panthers will definitely miss his physical presence if Gudas is forced to miss time.

Radko Gudas Exits With Upper-Body Injury
1 year agoAnaheim Ducks defenseman Radko Gudas sustained an upper-body injury against Minnesota on Thursday and had to exit the game early. The hard-hitting rearguard lasted just five minutes in the contest, and his exit left the Ducks without one of their most effective players. Gudas leads Anaheim with a plus-12 rating and is once again among the league leaders in hits, with 213 recorded in 60 games. Offensively, it's also been an above-average season for Gudas, as he's been on track for his fourth 20-point campaign. The 33-year-old has had six goals and 10 assists. Gustav Lindstrom and William Lagesson are candidates to jump into the lineup Friday versus Winnipeg, but neither player can offer what Gudas provides.
