Adam Trautman Due For Expanded Role
2 years agoNew Orleans Saints tight end Adam Trautman is expected to see his role expand in Week 13 after Juwan Johnson (ankle) was downgraded to out. The 25-year-old has already seen increased snaps recently, but it hasn't translated into more opportunities. He has just four catches for 29 yards over his last two games, good for a mere 6.9 fantasy points. This week, he'll serve as the Saints' No. 1 tight end against the Buccaneers, who have allowed 14.2 fantasy points per game to tight ends (fifth-most in NFL). He ranks as a mid-to-low TE2 and is a fine streaming option in deeper leagues.
