Is David Njoku Playing In Week 13 Against the Texans?
David Njoku has battled injuries this season and has missed half of Cleveland's last four games. Ahead of Week 13, he is struggling with a new knee injury that is unrelated to his previous issue.
The athletic TE has been absent from Cleveland practices all week and the Browns have officially ruled him out for Week 13 against Houston.
Is Harrison Bryant Starting In Week 13 Against the Texans?
With Njoku officially sidelined against the Texans, Cleveland's Harrison Bryant will get the starting nod at the TE position in Week 13.
Bryant has logged full workloads in Njoku's two absences this season, playing 70% of the Browns' offensive snaps in Week 8 against Cincinnati and 73% in Week 10 against Miami.
Should I Pick Up and Start Harrison Bryant In Week 13?
Losing Njoku is certainly a blow to the Cleveland offense, but Bryant has proven himself to be a suitable NFL starter when inserted into the lineup. He's totaled 179 receiving yards and a TD on 23 receptions this season.
Bryant draws a juicy matchup against one of the worst defenses in the league. Houston ranks 25th in positional DVOA against tight ends. The biggest unknown that comes with rostering Bryant is the insertion of Cleveland's Deshaun Watson under center. The TE position is always a tough roster spot to fill, as such, Bryant can be considered a realistic option by fantasy managers in 12+ team leagues.
