2 years agoThe New York Yankees are believed to be on the list of teams to visit with free-agent outfielder Brandon Nimmo. The fit is somewhat curious, though, unless the Yankees are unable to re-sign superstar slugger Aaron Judge. The San Francisco Giants, Tampa Bay Rays, Toronto Blue Jays and New York Mets are also believed to be involved with Nimmo. The 29-year-old outfielder is one of the best on-base men in all of baseball, so he'd be a great fit at the top of any contending team's lineup. Nimmo has a .385 career on-base in seven big-league seasons with the Mets, and he had a .274/.367/.433 slash line with an .800 OPS, 16 home runs, a league-leading seven triples, 64 RBI, 102 runs scored and three stolen bases in 673 plate appearances and 151 games.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
