2 years agoSan Antonio Spurs center Jakob Poeltl (knee) and power forward Jeremy Sochan (quad) have been ruled out for Friday's contest against New Orleans. Poeltl is battling a right knee bruise that will keep him out for the second straight game, while Sochan is down again with a right quad contusion. With Doug McDermott (ankle) also sidelined, Zach Collins, Charles Bassey and Isaiah Roby figure to see extensive frontcourt minutes and could factor into DFS lineups, albeit with some risk. Poeltl began the season on a hot stretch and is nearly averaging a double-double for the year (12.9 points, 9.9 boards). His and Sochan's next chance to suit up is Sunday vs. the Suns.--Jesse Borek
