Lamar Jackson Injury Update
Lamar Jackson has popped up on the injury report for the Baltimore Ravens in three straight weeks after he left practice early on Wednesday with a quad injury. After returning to practice in full on Thursday and Friday, Jackson doesn't carry an injury designation into Sunday's game versus the Denver Broncos.
It's a good sign that Jackson practiced with no limitations on Thursday and Friday so he avoided having an injury designation, but considering he's at his best when he's creating with his legs, his quad injury is something to monitor during Sunday's contest.
Even in a tough matchup against the Denver Broncos in Week 13, Jackson should unquestionably be in your starting lineup.
Justin Fields Injury Update
Justin Fields was forced to miss last week's game against the New York Jets due to a shoulder injury, but it appears his time on the sideline is already coming to an end. After being able to practice all week for the Chicago Bears, Fields was removed from the team's injury report and he'll start in Week 13 against the Green Bay Packers.
The Bears took a cautious approach with Fields last week after he was discovered to have a separated non-throwing shoulder. With Fields being a mobile quarterback, Chicago didn't want him taking any hits to his shoulder, but it's clear that the team believes there's a limited chance of him worsening the injury now.
There is undoubtedly going to be concern about him worsening his shoulder ailment, however, Fields should be started in all formats with the Bears giving him the green light.
Aaron Rodgers Injury Update
On the other side of the field as Fields, Aaron Rodgers is dealing with injuries of his own. Despite enduring injuries to his thumb and ribs, the veteran signal-caller doesn't carry an injury designation into Sunday's showdown with the Bears.
Rodgers has taken plenty of hits this season and it doesn't help that David Bakhtiari won't be protecting his blindside after he underwent an appendectomy. The Packers are likely going to take a run-heavy approach on offense with Rodgers hobbled, boosting the production of Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon.
Meanwhile, there are potentially better options out there than Rodgers in Week 13 unless you're in a deeper league that doesn't have any viable quarterbacks available. We saw Jordan Love play in last week's contest and if Rodgers shows any signs of being limited, the Packers could deploy Love at any moment.
Matthew Stafford Injury Update
There is good and bad news pertaining to Matthew Stafford entering Week 13. The good news is that Sean McVay revealed that Stafford has cleared the concussion protocol for the Los Angeles Rams. The bad news is that Stafford still won't be active in Week 13 versus the Seattle Seahawks.
Stafford will miss his second straight game for the Rams and his third game of the season. With Stafford set to miss another contest for Los Angeles, John Wolford was announced as the starting quarterback against the Seahawks while Bryce Perkins could still see snaps in certain situations.
No one should be rushing to start any members of the Rams' offense this week, especially with Stafford not under center. It remains to be seen if the Rams are going to let Stafford play again this season as they are 3-8 and aren't in playoff contention.
