Robert Tonyan Not A Viable Streaming Option In Week 13
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers tight end Robert Tonyan will face the Chicago Bears in Week 13. The 28-year-old has failed to finish inside the top 20 since Week 6 and has had more than four targets on just one occasion during that stretch. With the Packers wide receiver corps relatively healthy, Tonyan has taken a backseat for the likes of Allen Lazard, Christian Watson, and Randall Cobb. Rookie Romeo Doubs (ankle) could also be returning to the field this week, and the matchup against Chicago is not favorable. The Bears allow the sixth-fewest fantasy points per game to the tight end position, meaning Tonyan would have to likely score a touchdown to make fantasy managers happy, and he has not done that since Week 4. With plenty of better options on the waiver wire this week, Tonyan can safely be left on the bench in Week 13.
