Miles Sanders' Upside Could Be Capped Against Tennessee
2 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles running back Miles Sanders will face the Tennessee Titans in Week 13. The 25-year-old snapped a two-game cold streak last week against the Green Bay Packers, gaining 160 all-purpose yards and scoring two touchdowns. This week's matchup against the Tennessee Titans may be a less fruitful endeavor. The Titans' defense allows the third-fewest fantasy points per game to the running back position this season. Cincinnati Bengals backup running back Samaje Perine had a solid fantasy outing against them last week, gaining 93 all-purpose yards, and he found the end zone once. However, Perine caught four of seven targets for 35 yards. Sanders has not had more than three targets in a single game all season. Unless the fourth-year back finds the end zone this week, he could end up with a disappointing stat line. Consider Sanders an RB2 this week, but adjust your expectations accordingly.
