James Washington Expected To Return To Practice
James Washington (foot) on Wednesday, according to a source. Washington has been on Injured Reserve after breaking his foot in training camp. The 26-year-old last practiced on Aug. 1, so it's highly unlikely that he'd be officially activated from Injured Reserve to play in Week 13 on Sunday night against the Indianapolis Colts. But it's good news for Dallas' receiving depth to close out the season. Washington was expected to open the year as the No. 2 behind CeeDee Lamb with Michael Gallup recovering from offseason knee surgery, but that never transpired. Once healthy, Washington will be battling for targets with Gallup and Noah Brown. Don't expect much from him once he does make his 2022 season debut.
