Jaguars Optimistic About Travis Etienne Jr.
2 years agoJacksonville Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson said he "feels good" about running back Travis Etienne Jr.'s (foot) chances of playing in Week 13 against the Detroit Lions. Pederson said Etienne will go through portions of walk-through practice on Wednesday, but the team doesn't want to rush him to go full before he's 100 percent. It sounds as though Etienne will be limited early this week, but he certainly has a chance to play this Sunday after getting injured in the Week 12 win over the Baltimore Ravens. If the second-year RB is active against a porous Detroit defense, he'll be a must-start fantasy RB. If he's out or limited at all, JaMycal Hasty, who had 12 carries for 28 yards and five catches for 67 yards and a touchdown last Sunday, would be the Jags' lead back. Hasty is a popular waiver-wire pickup for Etienne's fantasy managers or anyone in need of RB help this week.
