ANALYSIS: Chuba Hubbard logged a season-high 17 carries in Carolina's Week 12 victory over the Denver Broncos.
Hubbard converted the increased opportunity into 65 rushing yards. It was his best fantasy output since Week 7 and could earn him an increased role in this Panthers' offense down the stretch.
He is locked in as Carolina's second RB behind D'Onta Foreman, though Hubbard should see a solid role as the squad's pass-catching back in games in which they are trailing.
With a bye week for Hubbard and the Panthers this week, fantasy GMs don't need to worry about this pick-up. Hubbard can be considered a nice insurance policy for Foreman managers or a stretch-run stash for those with room on their benches. He'll return in Week 14 for a favorable matchup against the Seattle Seahawks.
