2 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles running back Kenneth Gainwell carried the ball eight times for 39 yards and a score, adding one reception for seven yards, during the team's 40-33 victory over the Green Bay Packers. The 23-year-old recorded his highest touch total of the season and was given carries throughout the contest as the Eagles gashed the Packers' defense on the ground, tallying 363 rushing yards Sunday night. Teammate Boston Scott actually got the start in this game but carried the ball just three times. While Gainwell may not have weekly FLEX value, it is safe to assume he would receive the most work if Miles Sanders were to go down. Sanders fantasy managers should consider stashing Gainwell on their bench as we enter the final stretch of the fantasy season as an insurance policy. The second-year back will face the Tennessee Titans next week but should be off the fantasy radar in the majority of redraft leagues.--Ryan Larrison - RotoBaller
