2 years agoLos Angeles Rams running back Cam Akers ran for 44 yards on nine carries in the Rams' 10-26 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Even with the Rams' top receivers Cooper Kupp and Allen Robinson II out with ankle injuries, Akers did not play any role in LA's passing game. Both rookie RB Kyren Williams and QB Bryce Perkins had more carries than Akers. Averaging 4.6 yards per carry, Akers was fairly efficient. But with as infrequently the Rams run the ball, Akers does not have much fantasy upside as long as he is part of a committee. In Week 13, he will try to get on track in a home tilt against the Seattle Seahawks.--Mitchell Blatt - RotoBaller
