Chase Claypool Leads Bear With 51 Receiving Yards
2 years agoChicago Bears wide receiver Chase Claypool caught two passes for 51 yards in the team's 31-10 loss to the Jets in Week 12. Claypool was involved early, catching a pass for a first down and then hauling in a beautiful 31-yard jump-ball reception to set up an early field goal. Claypool would see five targets in the game, including a target in the end zone. It was a positive development to see the Bears offense give Claypool opportunities down the field but his production will be capped as long as backup Trevor Siemian is under center. Starting quarterback Justin Fields status in Week 13 will dictate the fantasy value for all Bears offensive players heading into next week.
