Tennessee Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill has had an up-and-down 2022 season. Yet, the veteran quarterback has played better than given credit for this year.
The former first-round pick is the QB26 for the year, averaging 13.4 fantasy points per game. However, Tannehill missed the Week 8 matchup against the Houston Texans and the Week 9 contest against the Kansas City Chiefs because of an ankle injury.
Since returning from the injury, the veteran quarterback has played his best football of the year.

Should I Pickup And Start Ryan Tannehill In Week 12?
Over the past two weeks, Tannehill has faced two talented defenses. Yet, he has averaged 294 passing yards, two passing touchdowns, and 19.2 fantasy points per game during that span. Furthermore, the former Texas A&M star is the QB8 during those two weeks.
More importantly, Tannehill has scored 18.7 or more fantasy points in half of the games this year, including two straight. Yet, he is available in over 85% of ESPN leagues.
Meanwhile, he faces the Cincinnati Bengals this week. The Bengals have surrendered 15.8 fantasy points per game to quarterbacks over the past three games, giving up 16 or more fantasy points twice.
Fantasy players that need a last-minute replacement for Justin Fields or Matthew Stafford should grab Tannehill off the waiver wire.
What Quarterbacks Should I Consider On The Waiver Wire?
More than likely, Tannehill is available on the waiver wire in your league. However, Jacoby Brissett is an excellent streaming option as well this week. The Cleveland Browns quarterback is available in over 80% of ESPN leagues.
The veteran quarterback had his best performance this season last week, scoring 25.9 fantasy points against a talented Buffalo Bills defense. Furthermore, Brissett had three passing touchdowns in the game, including two to Amari Cooper.
He has played well over the past few weeks. Over his last three games, the career backup has averaged 20.9 fantasy points per game, scoring 16.5 fantasy points in every contest. Furthermore, the veteran scored 20 or more fantasy points twice during that span.
More importantly, Brissett has an appealing matchup in Week 12. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have surrendered two or more passing touchdowns in seven of their past eight games. Meanwhile, the veteran quarterback has five passing touchdowns over the past three weeks.
