What Has Jarvis Landry Done This Season?
It's been an injury-plagued season for Jarvis Landry in his first campaign for the New Orleans Saints. The offseason acquisition has missed five games in 2022 with a lingering groin injury but has now been active in each of New Orleans' last two.
Landry has garnered 10 targets since returning to the Saints' lineup in Week 10, logging six catches for 70 yards and a score. The veteran managed to find the end zone last week against the L.A. Rams, which resulted in his best fantasy output since Week 1 of the season.
Should I Pick Up Jarvis Landry Off the Waiver Wire in Fantasy Football?
As he continues to work his way back from an extended layoff, we're reminded that Landry is a quality football player with a nose for the ball. However, his fantasy upside appears to be somewhat capped in this Andy Dalton-led passing attack.
Fantasy managers in deep PPR leagues can consider the Saints wideout due to his role as a consistent underneath option in this offense. Due to New Orleans' QB limitations, as well as the emergence of rookie Chris Olave, Landry should be considered nothing more than a FLEX option at the moment by fantasy GMs that are in desperation mode.
