Bryce Perkins Expected To See First-Team Reps
2 years agoThe Los Angeles Rams are expected to give young quarterback Bryce Perkins first-team repetitions in practice this week with both Matthew Stafford (concussion, neck) and John Wolford (neck) injured. The Rams already ruled Stafford out for Week 12 against the Kansas City Chiefs. Perkins could make the first start of his career this weekend, which would put him on the emergency QB2 map for fantasy managers in superflex leagues. It would also make the Chiefs' defensive unit much more attractive in fantasy. The 25-year-old signal-caller went 5-for-10 for 64 yards and had five carries for 39 yards in relief of Stafford in the Week 11 loss to the New Orleans Saints. In Week 10, Perkins completed his only attempt for minus-three yards and ran three times for four yards.
