Is Josh Allen Hurt Or Healthy?
Josh Allen suffered an elbow injury in Buffalo's Week 9 loss to the New York Jets. Medical evaluations have led the Bills organization to believe that Allen's injury can't get worse by playing. As a result, he has suited up in both Weeks 10 and 11. He put forth his weakest fantasy effort of the season last week against the Cleveland Browns.
Allen's elbow issue is of note this week, as the Bills are set for a Thanksgiving Day clash against the Detroit Lions. Due to the quick turnaround, Allen was a limited participant in Buffalo's practices this week. However, he is considered a full go for the Bills' Turkey Day game against the Lions and enters Week 12 without an official injury designation.
Josh Allen Fantasy Football Outlook for Thanksgiving Day
There's nothing to see here, as Allen enters Week 12 without an official injury tag.
The Bills' superstar is coming off his worst fantasy performance of the season against the Cleveland Browns. He mustered just 12.58 fantasy points in Week 11 and it marked the first time this year he's failed to top 200 passing yards.
Despite his sluggish performance last week, Allen heads into Thanksgiving Day as an elite option and unquestionable QB1 fantasy play. He draws a Lions unit that grades out 23rd in the league in Pass Defense DVOA and has allowed the most fantasy points in the NFL to the QB position this season.
