Kyle Pitts Injury Update
Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts is out indefinitely after suffering a torn MCL in the team's win over the Chicago Bears. While Pitts hasn't met expectations this season in fantasy football, managers continued to hold out hope for the 2021 No. 4 overall pick in the NFL Draft.
He is more than likely out for the remainder of the fantasy football season and can be dropped in leagues of all shapes and sizes. Parker Hesse and MyCole Pruitt will be the lead tight ends for Atlanta, but neither has fantasy upside. Ultimately, Pitts' absence from the offense will likely mean more targets for Drake London and Olamide Zaccheaus.
Gerald Everett Injury Update
Los Angeles Chargers tight end Gerald Everett (groin) was limited in practice early last week before logging a full practice on Friday, but was ultimately ruled out of the Sunday Night Football contest against the Kansas City Chiefs. Early in the week, there's no real news on his status for Week 12, but since he was able to practice in full at least once last weeks, there's some hope for him to play against the Cardinals on Sunday. Stay tuned for the latest updates, but sometimes no news is good news when it comes to injuries.
With Pitts, Goedert, and Ertz all out for significant time, Everett has a path to being a top-five overall fantasy tight end on the season in the Chargers' electric offense. That said, his return to the field would mean a lot for the depth and upside of the position as a whole.
Daniel Bellinger Injury Update
New York Giants tight end Daniel Bellinger (eye) won't play against the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving, head coach Brian Daboll told the media. The rookie will now miss a fourth consecutive game after fracturing his left eye socket in Week 7.
Tanner Hudson, Chris Myarick, and Lawrence Cager will see snaps at tight end in his absence.
