Joe Mixon Injury Update
Mixon (concussion) racked up 20 rushing yards and 42 receiving yards before exiting Sunday's game against the Steelers. He was quickly ruled out, and after the game ended, Bengals head coach Zac Taylor confirmed that Mixon had entered concussion protocol. We'll wait to see how Mixon progresses throughout the week, but the typical timetable for recovery from a concussion would at least put the running back's status for Week 12 in doubt. If he can't suit up, Samaje Perine would rise to the RB2 tier.
Ezekiel Elliott Injury Update
Elliott (knee) played in Week 11, but he has been limited in practice on Monday and Tuesday ahead of Week 12. At this rate, it looks like he should have no trouble suiting up versus the Giants on Thanksgiving, but fantasy managers should still monitor his status over the next 36 hours.
Clyde Edwards-Helaire Injury Update
The bad news keeps coming for Edwards-Helaire (ankle). Just one week after logging zero touches, he played a couple of snaps against the Chargers, registered two touches, and then proceeded to exit with an injury. Head coach Andy Reid confirmed that Edwards-Helaire suffered a high-ankle sprain, which typically requires a multi-week recovery. Going forward, Isiah Pacheco will handle most rushing downs while Jerick McKinnon catches passes out of the backfield.
Chase Edmonds Injury Update
Speaking of high-ankle sprains in the AFC West, the Broncos have placed Edmonds (ankle) on injured reserve. This is particularly poor timing considering Denver waived Melvin Gordon on Monday. Latavius Murray will lead the backfield going forward and is the only Broncos running back worth rostering in fantasy football. As of now, Marlon Mack and Devine Ozigbo project to fill depth roles.
Jaylen Warren Injury Update
Warren (hamstring) injured himself early in Week 11 and was unable to return. Speaking in the days following the Steelers' loss, head coach Mike Tomlin announced that Warren's injury wasn't "significant," but it's too early to tell whether he'll be available to play in Week 12 against the Colts. If the rookie is forced to sit out, Benny Snell Jr. would back up Najee Harris.
Mike Boone Injury Update
On the positive news front, Denver could soon welcome reinforcements in the form of Boone (ankle). The 27-year-old has been rehabbing during practice and could return from injured reserve in Week 13.
Joshua Kelley Injury Update
Kelley (knee) is expected to return to practice this week. He has been sidelined since Week 6 and is eligible to return from IR anytime now. Through his first five games, he amassed 104 rushing yards, 56 receiving yards, and one touchdown. He won't have any fantasy appeal unless Austin Ekeler were to suffer an injury.
Giovani Bernard Injury Update
Bernard (ankle) has been designated to return from injured reserve. As a result, the Buccaneers now have 21 days to officially activate him. Of course, even if the 31-year-old does return to the 53-man roster in the next three weeks, he would still be the No. 3 option behind Rachaad White and Leonard Fournette.
