Tyler Allgeier Leads The Team In Rushing
2 years agoAtlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier led the team with 55 rushing yards in the 27-24 Week 11 win over the Chicago Bears. The rookie had only eight rushing attempts in the game, compared to 10 for Cordarrelle Patterson. Yet, the former BYU star had more rushing yards than the veteran (55-52), averaging 6.9 yards per rushing attempt. However, Allgeier had only 29 rushing yards before ripping off a 26-yard run to end the game with a minute left. Before his big run, the rookie averaged only 4.1 yards per rushing attempt. With a matchup against the Washington Commanders next week, fantasy players should consider Allgeier a risky flex option.
