Wide Receiver Waiver Wire Pickups for Week 12: Top Free Agent Adds Include

Justin Carter's fantasy football wide receiver waiver wire pickups for Week 12 of the 2022 NFL season. His free agent WRs to add, stream and stash off waivers.

Does your fantasy team need one final push to get you into the postseason, especially with fantasy trade deadlines past in a lot of leagues? Below, you'll find some wide receivers that you should be targeting on the fantasy football waiver wire ahead of Week 12.

Not all of these waiver wire options are the same. Some players may be better in PPR or deeper leagues, so it’s not a one-size-fits-all comparison. Use your best judgment when deciding which of these players is the right fit for your roster.

Be sure to also check out our Waiver Wire Adds for Week 12 for help at all the skill positions. All players on this list here are around 50% rostered or below.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Wide Receivers Fantasy Football Waiver Wire

Christian Watson, Green Bay Packers - 73% rostered

I'm assuming someone in your league has already picked up Christian Watson, but I guess he's still out there in 27% of Yahoo! leagues for some reason, so let's revisit why you should pick Watson up: he has five touchdown receptions in the last two games. If you're in a league where he's available, add him. I'm not going to even bother elaborating further here.

Darius Slayton, New York Giants - 51% rostered

Well, the hits keep coming for the Giants. Wan'Dale Robinson had a 100-yard game on Sunday, but exited with a knee injury in the fourth quarter, and it's looking like he'll miss some time. Darius Slayton, meanwhile, was targeted 10 times this week, catching five passes for 86 yards. This isn't the best pass offense to target someone in, but Slayton now has four games in a row with at least 50 receiving yards, and now it looks like he's the team's No. 1 receiver for at least one week, if not longer.

Treylon Burks, Tennessee Titans - 20% rostered

When the Titans drafted Burks, people expected him to be one of the best rookie receivers because of the dearth of options in Tennessee, especially after the A.J. Brown trade. But that wasn't really the case, and then Burks missed four games with injury. But since returning, he has 14 targets, including eight of them against Green Bay this week, with seven catches for 111 yards in the game. He's a WR3 play going forward.

Donovan Peoples-Jones, Cleveland Browns - 44% rostered

Hey, DPJ hive, we finally got us a touchdown this week! Peoples-Jones' 61 yards were his fewest since Week 5, but he got his first touchdown of the season and has now posted double-digit points in full PPR in five consecutive games. Peoples-Jones is the ultimate floor play—you can guarantee that he gets volume, but there's been a cap on how high his numbers are because he hasn't been getting that volume down in the end zone. Could this week start a shift in that, especially with Cleveland getting an upgrade at quarterback soon?

Robert Woods, Tennessee Titans - 38% rostered

With Ryan Tannehill back under center, Robert Woods has gotten more involved in this offense, with 14 targets over the past two games. Against Denver, that didn't really turn into anything, with just two catches for 10 yards. But this week, Woods had six catches for 69 yards. After an inconsistent season, maybe Woods will find some rhythm now that Tannehill is back under center?

Nico Collins, Houston Texans - 27% rostered

Good news: Collins out-targeted Brandin Cooks again, and I think it would be fair to characterize this receiving corps as "leaning Collins," to borrow some phrasing from election season.

The bad news: this is still the Texans offense, which struggles to move the football, so being the No. 1 option here doesn't necessarily mean what it would mean on 31 other teams. Still, with 17 targets over the past two games, Collins is starting to build a decent fantasy floor, even if the ceiling isn't very high.

Wide Receiver Deeper League Waiver Wire Pickups

Alec Pierce, Indianapolis Colts - 17% rostered

Pierce led the Colts in targets with eight, but he only managed to finish with three catches for 28 yards. In a 14-team league where Parris Campbell is rostered, you might have some interest in Pierce because of his increased role this week, but he's really just a dart throw, because he's had under 50 yards in four of his last five games.

Randall Cobb, Green Bay Packers - 4% rostered

Cobb came back after a four-game absence and was immediately a key part of this Packers offense, as he was targeted six times, catching six passes for 73 yards. If we take the Jets game where he was injured out of the equation, his last two full games: 13 targets, with seven catches for 99 yards back in Week 5, and then this strong showing. Christian Watson is the touchdown guy for Green Bay, but Cobb might be the guy who moves the chains, making him an intriguing add in full PPR leagues.

Terrace Marshall Jr., Carolina Panthers - 11% rostered

Marshall had another solid game, catching three passes for 76 yards, but the Panthers offense is also just a complete mess, so it's not clear if Marshall will be able to sustain the play he showed on Sunday. But he has over 40 receiving yards in four consecutive games, so while his low volume is a concern, he's making things happen when he touches the ball. His ceiling remains low, though, because the Panthers offense won't present him with a lot of opportunities.

Demarcus Robinson, Baltimore Ravens - 4% rostered

12 targets went to Ravens wide receivers this week. Nine of those were to Demarcus Robinson, who caught all of them for 128 yards. I would have Robinson higher if I had any faith that this wasn't a one-off blip, as he had just one game all season with over three receptions coming into Sunday. Rashod Bateman being done for the season increases his upside, but I still think Devin Duvernay is the Ravens' top wideout, and Robinson's probably just a dart throw in deep leagues.
