The DST position is one of the trickier propositions in fantasy football, but can sometimes be the difference between wins and losses. As we head into Week 11 of the NFL season, many fantasy managers are left searching for viable streaming options at the DST spot for Sunday, November 20th.
After a huge upset win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football, the Washington Commanders travel to Houston to take on the lowly Texans in Week 11. The Texans' offense is currently averaging just 16.6 points per game, a mark that ranks the squad 28th in the NFL.
So, should we start the Wahington Commanders DST this week against Houston?

What Has The Commanders DST Done in 2022?
The Commanders have been a solid, if unspectacular, DST unit in 2022. Despite playing without star EDGE rusher Chase Young for the entire season. Washington ranks third in the NFL in pressure rate and has recorded 24 sacks.
They currently stand tied for 16th in the NFL in average DST fantasy points per game at 6.0.
Should I Start The Commanders DST In Week 11 Fantasy Football?
The Commanders head into Week 11 off a brilliant Monday night performance against the Philadelphia Eagles in which they created four turnovers against the previously-undefeated Eagles.
They now draw a juicy matchup against the pitiful Houston Texans. The Texans rank just 30th in the NFL in Total Offense DVOA and stand near the bottom of the league in nearly every offensive statistical category.
As if facing Davis Mills and this spotty Houston offense weren't enough reason to fire up the Commanders DST, it appears as though this unit will get former NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year Chase Young back in the lineup this week. The Commanders are a slam-dunk streaming option in this spot and should be considered a top-five DST play in Week 11.
