ANALYSIS: Will Big Al ever run out of energy? I doubt it if you ask me. Horford, playing in his age-36 season and 16th as a pro and keeps starting games nightly going 13-for-13 this season after starting all of those in which he played over the last two seasons (97). And it is not just starting games, but playing monster minutes including the 32 MPG he's spending on the court this season.
After a rough start to the 2023 campaign in which Horford only averaged a putrid 0.70 FP/min (league average at 0.90), the veteran seems to finally have found his real pace averaging 1.02 FP/min from Nov. 7 on and over a span of six games since then.
Horford has played even more minutes in that second stint than in the underperforming first, so the outcomes should be sustainable over time. Horford has hit at least one trey in each of his 13 games and is hitting 2+ 3PM a pop. He's shooting above 60% from the field in November (on low volume, though) and has scored 11+ points in all but one game (7) this month.
The center has already bagged three double-doubles this season while pulling down 6+ boards in six consecutive games through Saturday. Horford and Brook Lopez are the only two "true" centers in the NBA currently averaging 2+ 3PM.
Horford, though, is the only player averaging 2+ 3PM per game to go with 6+ RPG and shooting above 55% from the floor. Lauri Markkanen, Stephen Curry, and Karl-Anthony Towns are the only other three players with those 3PM and RPG averages shooting above 50% to date. The three of them are rostered in at least 94% of all ESPN leagues.

BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 8% of leagues ANALYSIS: The surge of Deni Avdija in all fantasy leaderboards has a very easy-to-grasp reason and that's Kyle Kuzma missing time with an injury.
